Sardinia is rich of traditions, events and feasts that pass on from generation to generation.

An holiday to our Villages is the right occasion both to enjoy our wonderful sea and to discover these ancient and precious traditions.

Don’t forget the “Settimana Santa” of Castelsardo (at about 7 km from Baiaverde and about 20 km from "La Plata") which starts on Monday after the Palm Sunday and takes the name of “Lunissanti”.

Other important Spring event is the “Cavalcata” to Sassari (at about 45 km from Baiaverde and at about 10 km from La Plata): hundreds of people, walking and on horseback, who parade in typical costume.

The Centers around Baiaverde then, are suggestive settings of several activities which often melt Religion and profane traditions.

Here some important events near "Baiaverde" and "La Plata":

- The “Candelieri” in Sassari on 14th August, a very popular and fascinating feast;

- The “Sa essida de sos Candeleris” in Nulvi (at about 20 km from both villages) on 14th August, less than those of Sassari, but much bigger and heavier.

- The “Ardia”, a horse race in the centre of Pozzomaggiore, at about 70 km from "Baiaverde" and "La Plata".
